Cherry Festival’s Final Day!
Saturday, July 11th
Cherry Festival wraps up with a full day of fun, including the Grand Royale Parade, the Ultimate Air Dogs and Cherry Idol Finals, a Journey Tribute band on the big stage, and of course, the annual Fireworks Finale!

BlissFest
July 10-12
It’s a full weekend of music, from folk, to bluegrass, world beat to blues at the Festival Farm outside of Petoskey. Camp the weekend with family, friends and fellow music lovers! See the schedule here.
 
 
Cheboygan Area Arts Council 47th annual Arts Festival
Saturday, July 11th, 9:30-3 Festival Square
Exhibitors will be appearing from Cheboygan and around Michigan, with a variety of watercolor and oil paintings, along with sculptures, glass, photography, pottery, jewelry, fabric art, and furniture.  Awards are presented during the show, after judges have reviewed the works on display. Many of the artists have also contributed items to a raffle, and visitors can win a special piece of art for just the price of a $2 ticket, with proceeds to benefit the Arts Council.  Get details here.

 
Stone Circle Gatherings
Saturday Nights through the end of August, 9-11pm
It’s a quieter kind of night out, as local poet and bard Terry Wooten hosts a unique campfire event featuring storytelling, poetry, and acoustic music. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy a night under the stars! The Stone Circle is located just 10 miles north of Elk Rapids on US 31-look for the signs. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Glen Arbor Art Association Dune Climb Free Concert
Sunday, July 12, 7pm
Bring the family for this 17th annual event featuring live music from Grand Rapids area band Hip Pocket. The concert is free, you just need to pay admission into the park or have a National Parks Pass. See more here.
