Beer, Bass, and Lilacs, great shopping and a new show!

It's going to be another great weekend "Up North"….and there are so many ways to enjoy it! Craving great beer and food, then head to Charlevoix. Fun for the whole family? Cruise to Mancelona or Mackinaw Island! If you're in the mood to shop, spend your Friday night in Downtown Petoskey…and there's a fun new show on stage at the Depot in TC!

Charlevoix Beer Festival
Saturday, June 4th, noon-6pm, Bridge Park
Taste a wide variety  of high quality Michigan craft beer while enjoying food from area restaurants. Cost: $10 at the gate (includes 2 tasting tickets). Additional tasting tickets are 5 for $10.  The festival will have a local food court within the grounds, offering $2 tastes of food. Mancelona Bass Festival
June 2-5

Mackinac Island Lilac Festival
June 3-12th
The 10-day celebration is the first and largest summer event on the Island, celebrating the Island’s historic varieties of lilacs, distinctive equestrian culture, and fine food and drink.  Lots of activities, including the Lilac parade on June 12th at 1pm. Get more info at mackinacisland.org
 
 
 
Downtown Petoskey Summer Open House
Friday, June 3rd, 5:30-10pm
Events include the downtown fashion show, "taste of downtown" and drink tent, live music from the Petoskey Steel Drum Band, and a free movie in the park at dusk!

The Kitchen Witches at the Studio Theatre at the Depot
Through June 11
Isoble and Dolly are 2 cable access cooking show hostesses that have shared a hate for each other for 30 years.
