What are you doing New Year's Eve?

Don't welcome 2017 at home….there's so much going on!  If you haven't made plans, here are a few suggestions….including an early chance to celebrate with a splash! There's fun for the kids at the Great Lakes Children's Museum, and 3 great parties in Charlevoix, Petoskey and Traverse City.

Charlevoix Area Pool Pre-New Year's Celebration-Beach Bash 2016!
Friday, Dec. 30th, 6-8pm

Celebrate with family and friends at the pool! Lounge poolside, toss some beach balls, soak in the hot tub, plus enjoy subs, refreshments and goody bags! $6 for adults, $5 for students, Children 5 and under FREE! Reservations are required by calling 231-547-0982.
 
Countdown to Noon at the Great Lakes Children's Museum
Dec. 31st, 10am to 3pm
Come out for fun activities including the chance to make a time capsule of your own to take home. You can even help decorating the ball that will drop at noon. Admission is $7 for everyone except those under age one. More info at greatlakeskids.org
 
Bridge Drop in Charlevoix
Dec. 31st, 1-Midnight
It's a full day of fun with the snowman making contest, horse drawn carriage rides, s'mores and hot cocoa, arts and crafts at the Charlevoix Circle of Arts, plus a free kids movie at the Charlevoix Cinema III. Plus fireworks shows at both 9pm, and midnight!
 
New Years Eve at the Crooked Tree Arts Center, Petoskey
Dec. 31st, 5-9pm
So many fun experiences are a part of this evening-music, theatre, art and dance, all under one roof at the Crooked Tree Arts Center. The whole evening of activities leads up to the early countdown to the New Year at 9pm. More info at www.crookedtree.org
 
Cherry-T Ball Drop, Downtown Traverse City
Dec. 31st, 9-midnight
Ring in the New Year with a fun street party, and watch the illuminated Cherry drop to ring in 2017! Live music and entertainment are a part of the fun- admission is a $3 donation for local charities. More info at downtowntc.com
