It’s a weekend to be by the water!

This weekend is full of fun events for the whole family. There’s the Rubber Ducky festival in Bellaire, and the annual Festival By the Bay in Petoskey. You can get out on the water for a good cause with the Paddle 4 the Pool in Charlevoix, or enjoy  Wine on the Water in Suttons Bay! And then, wrap up your Saturday with a delicious lobster dinner in Northport.
 
Rubber Ducky Festival in Bellaire, August 13-19th
Festivities include a performance by the Bay Area Big Band, Community Paddle event, a Picnic and Car Show, Rubber Ducky Parade and Race and more. Get the complete schedule of events at bellairechamber.org
 
 
16th Annual Festival on the Bay, August 16th-18th

Paddle 4 the Pool, Saturday, August 18th, 9am-1pm, Ferry Beach, Charlevoix
This is a 4-mile race for kayaks and canoes, 2 miles for stand-up paddleboards. Participants predict their own time, the closest to their prediction is the winner! All proceeds benefit the Charlevoix Area Community Pool. Get more info and sign up at paddle4thepool.com
 
 
Wine on the Water Festival, Saturday, August 18th, 1-7pm, Marina Park, Suttons Bay
Featuring tastes from local Leelanau wineries, Hop Lot brewing company and Tractor Pull Hard Cider, plus food from area restaurants. Sip and savor while enjoying live music from Levi Britton and Soul Patch. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Get yours at mynorthtickets.com
 
 
GT Lighthouse Museum Lobster Festival, Saturday, August 18th, 5-8pm
