There’s lots to keep the little ones busy this weekend!

Start your weekend keeping your kid’s minds sharp at the Great Lakes Children’s museum. Time is running out to catch the Festival of Trains in TC….then on Saturday, go on a Gnome Hunt at Pond Hill Farm! You can sing-along to a classic movie on the big screen at Bay Harbor, then wrap up your weekend by hitting the trails at Timber Ridge!
 
Holiday STEM Programming at the Great Lakes Children’s Museum, Friday, December 27th, 11am to 3pm
Children are invited to come take part in the Grinch STEM lab challenge. This activity is free with regular museum admission. Learn more at greatlakeskids.org
 
Festival Of Trains, Through December 31st, Crooked Tree Arts Center

Gnome Fest at Pond Hill Farm, Saturday, December 28th, Noon-8pm, Pond Hill Farm, Harbor Springs
Featuring a Gnome House scavenger hunt. Cross country ski, snowshoe, fat tire bike or hike through the woods to discover the secret gnome code inside the houses to win a prize. Don’t miss the “Gnome Man Explosion” at 4pm. There will also be live music from 5-8pm. Get details at pondhill.com/public-events
 
Sing-Along with the Sound of Music, Saturday, December 28th, 3-5pm, Great Lakes Center for the Arts, Bay Harbor

Kids on Skis in the Woods, Sundays, 11:45am Timber Ridge Resort, TC
Presented by Norte and the VASA Ski Club, this is a group ski for families. Enjoy the use of all the trails at Timber Ridge free on Sundays through the winter. elgruponorte.org
