You have plenty of Holiday Shopping opportunities this weekend!

Downtown Petoskey closes down the streets for their Holiday Open House this Friday night…and the Village at Grand Traverse Commons has a whole weekend of festive activities on tap! You can shop while sipping hot cocoa in Charlevoix on Saturday, then head for more shopping in Downtown Harbor Springs later that evening, or catch the parade of lights in downtown Cheboygan!

 

Downtown Petoskey Holiday Open House, Friday, December 3rd, 6 to 9 pm

The fun begins when Santa visits Pennsylvania Park to light the tree. New this year is the “Social District”-carry your adult beverage with you as you walk from store to store.  The streets will be closed, and merchants will stay open late offering holiday deals, plus enjoy strolling carolers and a performance by the Petoskey Steel Drum Band!

 

Christmas in the Village, Friday December 3rd through Sunday, December 5th

Come shop the Mercado at the Village at Grand Traverse Commons, with lots of great stocking stuffer ideas under $20! You can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy Hot Chocolate and s’mores, even take a $5 tunnel tour on Saturday from 3-5pm, or enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride on Sunday from 10am-2pm, $5 for adults, $3 for children.

  

Holiday Merchant Open House and Hot Cocoa Contest, Saturday, December 4th, starting at 10am,                      Downtown Charlevoix

Merchants will offer entertainment, samples, snacks, refreshments, special sales, raffles & more. Plus, from noon to 5pm, sample & vote for your favorite hot cocoa.Tasting stations will be set up at participating downtown stores & restaurants.  

 

Harbor Springs Christmas Open House, Saturday, December 4th,6-9pm

Enjoy a fun-filled evening of shopping, refreshments and holiday treats, courtesy of downtown merchants. Main Street will be closed to allow the community to stroll from store to store for a relaxing evening.

 

Parade of Lights in Downtown Cheboygan, Saturday, December 4th, 6pm

Downtown Cheboygan is lighting up the holiday season this Saturday night with a spectacular light parade. Come downtown and join in the festivities! After the parade, visit with Santa in Festival Square, starting at 6:30pm.
