St. Patrick’s Day fun for Young and Old!

There are lots of way’s to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early this weekend….bring the kids for a blast at Boyne Mountain, or, enjoy a family night on the sledding hill in Harbor Springs! There’s a fun 5k on Saturday morning, a chance to snowshoe through an outdoor art exhibit at Crystal Mountain, or, take part in a St. Patty’s Day tradition in Downtown TC!
 
Kids Festival Weekend at Boyne Mountain, March 11-13

Sledding and S’mores at Kiwanis Park in Harbor Springs, Friday, March 11th, 6-8pm
Bring the whole family for sledding, fire pits, s’mores, hot chocolate, music, food, rides back up the hill on the Harbor Springs Fire Department’s rescue sled, & more.
 
Leapin’ Leprechaun 5k, Saturday, March 12th, 9am, the Workshop Brewing Company, Traverse City
The 12th edition of this race is back in person, or you can still participate virtually. Don your green for a fun footrace in downtown TC! Registration is $35 through March 10 at midnight, $40 after. Sign up here.
 
Guided Snowshoe Hike at Michigan Legacy Art Park, Saturday, March 12th, 10am, Crystal Mountain, Thompsonville
Executive Director Angie Quinn will lead you a tour to view the sculptures in the Art Park. Meet at the Art Park trailhead. If there is no snow, it will be a hike. $5 for adults, children free. Learn more here.
 
TC’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Saturday, March 12th, 1:30pm
Wear your green and take part in this family-friendly event led by bagpipers with the Ancient Order of Hibernians through downtown TC. Starts at Kilkenny’s.
