Connecting Women in Business
Join Lite 96.3's Heather Leigh for Connecting Women in Business (CWIB), and a Women’s Health themed networking and educational luncheon/Expo on Tuesday, June 25 at the Odawa Hotel. The event is from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. This is a great opportunity for women to get more education to be healthier. Attendees will be able to visit each sponsor table to learn more about their service and offerings, and hear each sponsor present their topic.

Stroll the Streetsin downtown Boyne City with music and fun every summer Friday evening from 6-9pm through Labor Day weekend. Music and special activities include magicians, caricature artists, face-painters and balloon-twisters. Friday night June 14 is He Said She Said, Jania Taylor, Kayla Cross, Kowalske Family Band, Shady Hill, Straight Forward Blue Grass Band, The Vermeers.

Friday nights will rock in Downtown Petoskey with the second season of Petoskey Rocks! Hang out downtown for music on the streets, free horse-drawn carriage rides, Ghost Walks, story time for small children, a family Movie in the Park at Dark and Rockin' main events.
This Friday (14th) it’s Rock! Your Body - Learn about great (and fun) ways to get in shape for the summer - from great fresh food to exercise. Bring your bikes, take a brisk walk, do yoga or Zumba in the park, enjoy the hospitality of participating stores who will have great healthy info or tastings. Paula Poundstone Live in Boyne City
Comedienne Paula Poundstone is coming to the Boyne City Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 22. Proceeds from this event will help purchase a $20,000 wheelchair lift to make the yet-to-open Boyne Country Community Center building barrier free. Poundstone has been recognized as one of Comedy Central's 100 greatest stand-up performers. Paula's ability to create humor on the spot has people debating whether the random people she talked to were "plants", which of course they never are, and complaining that their cheeks hurt from laughter!
