This morning I passed along some healthy grilling tips I came across in bon appetit magazine. These were suggestions to help minimize the link between grilled meat and cancer. Here they are, in case you missed them!
Add more fruits & veggies
Shorten grill time by using a thermometer to make sure you aren't overcooking the meat
Flip food frequently
Trim the fat before cooking
Avoid smoky flare-up by lining your grill with foil poked with holes to allow the fat to drip down
Use the losest temperature and keep your grill rack as high as possible to keep meat away from the heat
Avoid processed meat
