Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan (WRCNM) is raffling a one-of-a-kind paddle board created by Little Bay Boards’ Jason Thelen and Petoskey High School Building Trades students. This ‘floating work of art’, valued at $4,000, was handcrafted from 60-year-old Honduran Mahogany and Colorado Aspen. Dollars raised from the raffle help support WRCNM programs and services for women, children and families. Only 100 tickets at $100 each are available. Purchase tickets at the WRCNM main office (231) 347-0067, Gold Mine Resale Shops in Petoskey and Petoskey Cheese at 440 East Mitchell Street, Petoskey. Raffle drawing will be held at Petoskey High School at 1:00 p.m., May 23rd. If 50 tickets are not sold, drawing reverts to a 50/50 raffle with the minimum prize of $1,000 awarded.
