The Doula Program of the Women’s Resource Center works with pregnant and parenting teens (up to the early twenties), helping them be the best parents they can be. The program needs volunteers in a variety of roles in Grand Traverse, Leelanau and Kalkaska Counties. Volunteers may train to become a labor and delivery coach for young women who need a support person. Volunteers are also needed to be mentoring friends with young mothers and fathers.
