Pet of The Week

Welcome to the Lite 96.3 Pet of the Week.
If you are looking for a new furry family member for your home, please consider adopting from one of our area shelters. There are thousands of pets each year in Northern Michigan who lose their family for one reason or another. Rescue is love!

From the Little Traverse Bay Humane Shelter

My name is Juno and I'm an alaskan husky and border collie mix. I'm a very nice guy; friendly and lovable. I'm looking for a home that has a fenced in yard, because all huskies need one to run around in. I would also need some daily exercise, so an active family would be best for me. I need to meet any dogs that I would be living with, and if you have cats, well, there's some exercise for me and them. Sure hope you'll come check me out, I'm a very handsome guy, just over two years old and ready to go!

I was found as a stray and though I feel a little bad about that, I'm hopeful that my forever family is out there somewhere.  I can't wait until they find me and I have a home of my own.  My name is Daggett and I'm a handsome one and a half year old orange tiger kitty.  I'm a very affectionate boy and would like nothing more than to find a home with a nice couch to sleep on.  After living life on the streets, I think I deserve that.  Hope you'll come visit me soon and consider making me a part of your family.  Yours, Daggett.

The LTBHS located on West Conway Road, between Petoskey and Harbor Springs is a no kill shelter that helps find  homes for over 500 dogs and cats each year. MORGAN AND JED are our A C Paw Pets of the Week.  Morgan and Jed were semi-feral when they came to A C Paw. They have done very well in their foster home and are now ready for a home to call their own.  They are sweet and loving but frighten easily.  It will take them time to warm up to a new family.  They just need time to trust that they are safe in their new home.  They are good with other cats but
Are afraid of dogs.  They would do best with an adult family.  Morgan and Jed are very close to each other so we would like to adopt them together to the same home.  Morgan is a very handsome orange and white short hair Male.  Jed is a black short hair male. They are a year old.  You can meet Morgan and Jed at Petsmart or for more information about them,  please contact

Hi, my name is Andre'.  I am a one year old Rottweiler mix.  I seem toget along well with other dogs and I love people.  I know how to sit and lay down, and look forward to learning all kinds of commands and other things from my new humans!  Please stop in to meet me.  I may be just the addition to your family that you have been looking for!

Hi, My name is Donna.  I am a one year old, Black, female cat.  I am friendly with people, but prefer to be the only cat in your family, because I am not quite as friendly with other cats.  Please stop in so that we may meet.
