There’s plenty of fun to be found for the 4th of July weekend…start with a classic cruise through Old Town Traverse City, or shop and support local artisans with a Craft Show in Cheboygan! You’ll find plenty to do all weekend long in Boyne City, as they celebrate America’s birthday, with parades, races, great food and lots more. You can buy a piece of the past in Petoskey, and of course, the National Cherry Festival kicks off this weekend with 2 Air Shows over Grand Traverse Bay!
 
Old Town Classic Car Cruise, Friday, July 1st, 5pm, Turtle Creek Casino, Williamsburg
Bring your classic car, truck or motorcycle and show it off! Staging begins at 5pm, and the cruise will leave at 6pm. Get details here.
 
Made In Cheboygan Summer Craft Show, Friday, July 1st, Noon-7, Saturday, July 2nd, 10am-5pm,      Washington Park, Cheboygan
Shop a large assortment of jewelry, home décor, pottery, clothing, toys, kitchen essentials, custom printed shirts and mugs, handcrafted hot sauces and more. Plus, Rusty Dogz will be selling their delicious gourmet hotdogs!
 
Boyne City 4th of July Celebration, July 1st-4th, Boyne City
The fun kicks off with Stroll the Streets Friday night and runs through the weekend! An Arts & Crafts Fair, Food Trucks and Bounce Houses, a Boat Parade, plus the 4th of July parade downtown on Monday, and lots more! Get the complete schedule of events here.

National Cherry Festival Air Shows, July 2nd & 3rd, 1-4pm
The skies come alive over Grand Traverse Bay this weekend! Grab a seat at the Open Space or along the beach and watch aerobatic displays from all types of planes, culminating with a performance by the US Navy Blue Angels!
