It’s the best smelling week of the year on Mackinac Island, and the best weekend of the summer to shop in St. Ignace. And lastly, a chance to hit the links for a great cause! Leland Wine and Food Festival

Colantha Walker Dairy Festival
Sunday, June 14th, Grand Traverse Commons
Come celebrate the areas most famous bovine-Colantha was the most prolific milk producer in the herd at the old state hospital. In fact, in 1926, she produced 22,918 pounds of milk in a single year, making her the highest producer in the world! Join the annual celebration with a full day, starting with a pancake breakfast, farmers market, arts and crafts, a cow pie eating contest, grilled cheese grill-off, and the annual parade to Colantha’s headstone!
