Holiday shopping and shows, even supper with Santa!

The weekend begins with a chance to shop under the spires at the Village at Grand Traverse Commons. You can enjoy a holiday show at the Crooked Tree Arts Center or the Kirkland Center, or get your adrenaline fix for a good cause at Boyne Highlands. And then enjoy a spaghetti supper with Santa in TC!

The Christmas Schooner

The Little Traverse Civic Theater presents this musical, based on the historic Great Lakes voyages of Christmas tree ships during the late 1800s and early 1900s, chronicling the first Christmas tree ship and the family who risked their lives to fill Chicago with the Christmas spirit. A Christmas Carol

Michael Paller's adaptation of this timeless classic finds Charles Dickens and his family celebrating Christmas eve in the Author's garret – acting out a story brought to him by his childhood muse. Warren Miller Movie and Pizza Night Fundraiser
Friday, December 8th, 5-9pm, Boyne Highlands Resort
Come out to the Day Lodge for a showing of Warren Millers Ski and Snowboard film “Line of Descent” along with a pizza dinner and silent and live auctions, all to benefit the Harbor Springs high school and middle school ski teams. Admission is $10. Learn more at

Supper with Santa
Saturday, December 9th, 5-8pm, VFW, Veterans Drive, TC
Enjoy a spaghetti dinner with the big guy from the North Pole, bid on great raffle baskets, get your photo taken with Santa, and much more. Admission is $8 per person or $24 for a family of 4.
