From Pirates to Pooches, there’s no shortage of fun this weekend!

There’s a just few days left to check out the Northwest Michigan Fair…You can spruce up your summer wardrobe Friday in Leland, or spend the day with swashbucklers in Boyne City! You’ll find fine art on the water in Charlevoix on Saturday, or head to Northport for some fun with your 4-legged friends! 
 
Northwest Michigan Fair, Through Saturday, August 14^th

Boyne City Pirate Fest, August 11-14^th
Friday, its “The Invasion”-decorate your ship and join the crazy flotilla. Plus, the Remedee performs under the tent from 8-11pm. Charlevoix Waterfront Art Fair, Saturday, August 14^th, 9am-6pm, East Park
Featuring some of the nation’s finest artists and craftsmen who have been chosen from hundreds of applicants. This always makes for an exceptional show, with works on display from watercolor and oils, photography and fiber arts, glasswork, pottery and more.
 
Northport Dog Parade, Saturday, August 14^th, Noon
Dress up with your pooch and join the parade! This year’s theme is “A Space Pawdessey”.
The parade route will start at the DPW and run down Mill Street, ending at the Sailing School. Pre event registration is $5 in person at Pennington Collection, Dog Ear Books or Enjoy Michigan, or $6 online at northportomenachamber.org. Registration will be $10 on the day of the event, starting at 10:30am.
