This weekend kicks off a fun run of shows with the Little Traverse Civic Theater, and a sweet tour for dessert lovers. There's a great day for the kids in Petoskey, a chance to give back to the TART trails, and a big name "Voice" comes to the stage in Charlevoix!
April 20th-29th, Little Traverse Civic Theatre
Set in a small village in the Ukraine, during the late 19th century. Fools is the story of Leon Tolchinsky who has just landed a terrific teaching job in an idyllic Russian hamlet. When Leon takes a new job educating Sophia, he soon learns that there is a curse on the village of Chronic Stupidity for the last 200 years. Complications ensue when Leon falls in love with and no one tells him that if he stays over 24 hours and fails to break the curse, he too becomes Stupid. 27th Annual McLaren Northern Michigan Children's Health Fair
Saturday, April 22nd, 10-2pm, Petoskey Middle School
This is a free event to celebrate April being the "Month of the Young Child". Parents are invited to bring newborns to 12 year olds to enjoy a day full of fun activities, including a visit from Olaf from Disney's "Frozen"!
