Holiday shopping and shows, even supper with Santa!

The weekend begins with a chance to shop under the spires at the Village at Grand Traverse Commons. You can enjoy a holiday show at the Crooked Tree Arts Center or the Kirkland Center, or get your adrenaline fix for a good cause at Boyne Highlands. And then enjoy a spaghetti supper with Santa in TC!

Friday through Sunday

The Christmas Schooner
December 7-10, and 14-16, Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey
The Little Traverse Civic Theater presents this musical, based on the historic Great Lakes voyages of Christmas tree ships during the late 1800s and early 1900s, chronicling the first Christmas tree ship and the family who risked their lives to fill Chicago with the Christmas spirit. A Christmas Carol
December 8th, 7-9pm, Kirkland Center for Performing Arts
Michael Paller's adaptation of this timeless classic finds Charles Dickens and his family celebrating Christmas eve in the Author's garret - acting out a story brought to him by his childhood muse. Complete with whimsical period set and costumes, this adaptation shines new light on the wonder of redemption. Warren Miller Movie and Pizza Night Fundraiser
Friday, December 8th, 5-9pm, Boyne Highlands Resort
Come out to the Day Lodge for a showing of Warren Millers Ski and Snowboard film "Line of Descent" along with a pizza dinner and silent and live auctions, all to benefit the Harbor Springs high school and middle school ski teams. Admission is $10. Learn more at hsskiteam.com
 
 
Supper with Santa
Saturday, December 9th, 5-8pm, VFW,  Veterans Drive, TC
Enjoy a spaghetti dinner with the big guy from the North Pole, bid on great raffle baskets, get your photo taken with Santa, and much more. Admission is $8 per person or $24 for a family of 4.

Your Christmas Station, Lite 96.3 has an evening of holiday fun for you! The Little Traverse Civic Theater production of the Christmas Schooner is running Dec. 7 through the 16th at the Crooked Tree Arts Center. We'd love to send you to the December 15th performance. Swingshift and the Stars is back!

Join Lite 96.3 for the season finale of Swingshift and the Stars! This year, 23 local charities are in line to recieve help from the community. Lite 96.3's Tim Nixon is a judge and we are inviting you to join him for the last event of the season on Friday, December 15th, 7pm at the City Opera House in Traverse City. This is a fun night of entertainment, dancing and a great way to help organizations that keep our area moving. Can't make the event? You can also donate here.

Teddy Bear Patrol is on the move.

The Lite 96.3 Teddy Bear Patrol delivered bears to first responders and those agencies that work directly with children.  Your donations have provided hundreds of bears and they so appreciate it! Click here to read more.
Pet of the Week 

HI, I'm Bentley and I'm a six month old Miniature Pinscher mix. I'm cute, cute, cute! I'm also very lovable and sweet. I'm okay with other dogs as long as I can meet them first, but because I like to play a lot, your dog will need to be okay with that. I come with free training classes that I look forward to attending, only because I want to learn how to be a good very boy. I'm a smart little guy, so it shouldn't take me to long to reach that goal. I want to be under your tree this holiday season with a big bow around my neck and a gift tag that says "Forever Yours!" Read more about him here.
