Happy Valentine's Day! Remember to share love every day, not just today!
Thanks to Kathy Hart for stopping by the studio this morning. In case you missed it, she is the Executive Director for the Mana Food Project. They provide food for 30 pantries located in Emmet, Charlevoix, and Antrim Counties. Next Tuesday they are having a fundraiser called "Great Restaurant, Great Cause" at Cava at the Village at Bay Harbor from 5-7pm. Admission is $20 and you can RSVP 231-347-8852 if you plan on going.
It's nice to know on this Valentine's Day that most Americans still believe in true love! If you still don't have plans, maybe you and your sweetie can do a "hometown tour" of all the hot spots in your local town-be tourists for the day, or volunteer together-help out a good cause and help yourselves bond. If your going to give flowers, try to be creative-roses are pretty, but maybe a plant, bonsi tree or spring bouquet instead.
