What dad doesn’t enjoy good comfort food, especially Mac & Cheese? Michigan’s Mac & Cheese Festival take place this Saturday, 5PM-10PM at Turtle Creek Stadium. This event will feature more than 30 unique & local mac & cheese offerings, complemented by 100+ beer, cider, & seltzer selections. Another great idea for dad, a concert at the Great Lakes Center for the art! Deana Carter will be there this Friday at 7pm, where you can celebrate an evening of country charm with the multi-platinum artist behind the smash hit “Strawberry Wine.” Tickets start at $42. And finally, if Dad hasn’t been to Mackinac Island in a while, the Lilac Festival continues its ten day long fun till Sunday. This is the first and largest summer event on the Island, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the country.
