See the trailer for ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’

Chris Pratt arrives for Amazon Prime’s “The Terminal List” Premiere on June 22^ 2022 in West Hollywood^ CA

Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for its animated adventure The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which is now set for theatrical release on April 1 (the film was previously slated to open on April 3.)

Nintendo also shared a first poster for the movie featuring Mario and Princess Peach observing the shooting stars. The voice actors for the sequel include: Mario (Chris Pratt), Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), Luigi (Charlie Day), Bowser (Jack Black), Toad (Keegan-Michael Key), and Kamek (Kevin Michael Richardson). Additional voice actors in the sequel film include Brie Larson, who will voice Princess Rosalina, and Benny Safdie is Bowser Jr.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, from returning directors Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, is based on the ‘Super Mario Galaxy’ video game, first released for the Nintendo Wii in 2007 (Nintendo recently re-released Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Switch.

The film is a sequel to the 2023 blockbuster, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which is the third highest grossing animated movie at the global box office with $1.36 billion in earnings.
