Hi everyone!
My name is John Kelly and I’m thrilled to be your Midday Host here on Lite 96.3.
I was born in da U.P., but grew up in Northern Michigan and have always called Charlevoix my home, spending time in the woods, camping with friends, and spending time on the beaches of Lakes Michigan and Charlevoix.
I somehow knew that I was supposed to do something in entertainment from the day my parents bought me a Mr. Microphone when I was a kid. I just wouldn’t be quiet and had that Mr. Microphone glued to my hand. Who knew I’d be hired at our sister station, 106-KHQ, while ending my junior year in high school. It has been great journey over the years being a part of the MacDonald-Garber Broadcasting stations, working with some great people. I wouldn’t change it for the world.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, doing charitable work, and drinking more coffee than any human should. With that, I appreciate and thank you for spending your time with me each weekday from 11 until 3, as you listen to Lite 96.3 during your workday.
