Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an issue near and dear to our hearts here at Lite 96.3. If you know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, now is a great time to support them in any way possible. It’s also worthwhile to spend part of your month encouraging relatives, friends, or neighbors to go for regular breast cancer screenings beginning at age 40 – or even earlier, depending on personal risk.

We’ll be doing our part to educate the public about certain risk factors, talking with local organizations who are part of the fight against Breast Cancer here in Northern Michigan, and we’ll also be raising money for Breast Cancer Research this month. Stay tuned to the radio station for more details on that.

For now, we’ve set up some links for you with more information here on this page.
