Festivals, Fireworks, and Fun on the Water!

There's still lots of summer fun to be had as we head into August-including a chance to bring the family to Elk Rapids! Polka music and the smells of great food fill the air in Boyne Falls, stroll the midway for Gibby's fries and elephant ears outside of Traverse City, or check out another art fair in Suttons Bay! And don't miss wooden boats on the Boardman River!

Elk Rapids Harbor Days
August 3-6

Boyne Falls Polish Festival
August 4-7

Northwest Michigan Fair
August 6-13th

Suttons Bay Art Festival
August 6th, 10-6,&7th 10-5, Marina Park

Boats on the Boardwalk
August 6th, 10am
Organized by the Water wonderland Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society, this show features 50 boats from around 1900 to current wooded classics. Live musical entertainment and lunch available through the event, on the boardwalk in Traverse City.
