A week of great food, a night of dancing, fall fun and stargazing!

This Friday kicks off 7 days of delicious dining with Petoskey Restaurant week. You can also watch 8 couples compete for great causes at the City Opera House in Traverse City. There’s fall fun in Glen Arbor on Saturday. And on Sunday, enjoy a daytime bike ride up the Old Mission Peninsula, and a night of stargazing at Sleeping Bear Dunes!
 
Petoskey Restaurant Week, October 19th through the 26th

Swingshift and the Stars, Friday, October 19th, 6:30pm, City Opera House,                      Traverse City
This is a live dance competition to benefit 8 local charities. Enjoy the music of a live swing band, and even get out on the floor yourself with dance lessons offered throughout the evening. Get tickets at cityoperahouse.org/events-swingshiftandthestars
 
 
Glen Arbor’s 3rd Annual Pumpkin Fest, Saturday, October 20th, noon-3pm,                            Glen Arbor Township Park
A perfect stop on your M-22 color tour! Enjoy games, pumpkin carving demonstrations, a costume parade, pet parade, face painting, music with DJ Miles Pendergast, and more. $5 suggested donation.
 
 
Fall Pumpkin Pedal, Sunday, October 21st
This is a free organized group ride on the Old Mission Peninsula. Registration begins at 11:30am at Jolly Pumpkin. Choose from a 20 or 40 mile ride. Find Your Park After Dark-Final 2018 Star Party, Sunday, October 21st, 8-10pm,                Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Dune Climb
Observe the moon, and planets Mars and Saturn. Park in the row furthest from the dunes with your headlights facing M-109. Learn more at nps.gov/index.htm
