No-Shave November…bad for you but healthy for him!

I truly don't know how ladies can love a man with a beard. My husband is the "outdoorsy" type. He thinks a beard makes in look more masculine and has on occasion grown facial hair. The full beard, the goatee, the mustache…whatever he chooses it always translates into a really chapped and scratched face for me and the rest of the family. If I had it my way he would be clean shaven every day- maybe twice a day….but who has time for that right? Plus if I'm expecting him to shave twice a day he may ask for that in return and that's just not going to happen 😉

Even if he goes a few days without shaving, he gets an earful from me, our daughter Ella -"Daddy you're scratching me!",and sometimes the dog lets out a little whimper if those rough whiskers hit him just right on the nose.

So why on earth would we want to encourage our men to have facial hair???? Well besides the fact that No-Shave November promotes awareness of men's cancer, there are also 7 science backed reasons why having a beard is a good thing. Check them out here and if you're like me and have a hard time with the facial hair, just know it's healthy for him, it supports a great cause, and you can always say it's No-Shave November for you too!!
