Are you showering wrong?

I always thought a shower was just a shower. How could I be doing it wrong? Well wrong might be a strong word but there are things you can and should be doing to help your skin and your health when showering. We’re talking length of shower, water temp, drying technique, washing technique and more! Who knew it could be so complicated!
First of all, you don’t have to take a shower every day. It might seem really gross to some people ( I used to be one of them before I had a child) but it’s true. Showering every day can actually be damaging to your skin. Three days a week is the recommendation on showering, and it’s also suggested that you don’t wash your hair every day either.  Instead its suggested you only wash armpits, feet, and other especially dirty parts daily, and avoid soap if you shower more than once a day.
