Start your weekend with a chance to learn new recipes at the Crooked Tree Arts Center. Then, gear up for the annual Iceman Cometh Mountain Bike Race. You can enjoy a night of trivia for a good cause, or get a jump on your Christmas Shopping for your 4 legged friends.  And on Sunday, warm up with a delicious soup supper!

The Iceman Cometh Challenge
Saturday, November 4th, 9am-4pm, Downtown Kalkaska
This is a 29-mile mountain bike race from Kalkaska to Traverse City. The Meijer Slush Cup, a shorter version of the race, begins at Timber Ridge, and the Meijer Sno-Cone race for ages 10 and under also takes place at Timber Ridge at 3pm. The Junior Iceman starts at noon at the Kalkaska County Civic Center. All are invited to the afterparty at Union Street Station in TC at 9pm. More info and registration at iceman.com
Trivia Night Fundraiser with Quota
Saturday, November 4th, 5:30pm, VFW Post 2780, Veterans Drive, Traverse City
Join Quota of Traverse City for a night of trivia to benefit GT Metro Fire and Life Safety, and Safe Kids North Shore. Proceeds from this event will help supply locals with in-home smoke alarms and child safety seats. Empty Bowls Fundraiser
Sunday, November 5th, 11am-2pm, Hagerty Center, Traverse City
