Shop and help out local non-profits by participating in Shop Your Community Day this Saturday, November 8th, all day in downtown Traverse City. Shopping downtown gives back during Shop Your Community Day. For every purchase made at participating stores, 15% of sales will be donated to one of 30 local nonprofit organizations chosen by the shopper at checkout. This event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for community organizations, making it one of downtown’s most impactful traditions. For the arts & craft lovers, the Long Lake Craft Show is on Saturday November 8th, from 9am till 3pm, at the Long Lake Elementary (7600 N Long Lake Rd).
