The Asparagus Festival in Empire

Lots of incredible local asparagus eats, great music, and fun activities. The “Kick-yer-Assparagus 5K Fun Run/Walk starts at 10am. The Recipe contest will start at noon at the Township Hall on Front St. Asparagus East with food vendors, local breweries, and live music will start at noon, and the Ode to Asparagus Poetry Contest will be at the Glen Lake Library. Submit your asparagus-inspired poems.
