Leapin’ Leprechaun 5k
Saturday, March 18th, 9am, Lake Ave, TC
This new route starts & ends on Lake Avenue, and takes you on a scenic route over the Boardman River & through residential neighborhoods with a short trip on the TART Trail. An after party will be held at Brady’s Bar. More details here.
 
Pub Crawl for the Cure in Downtown Bellaire
Friday, March 17th, 6-10pm
The Chain of Lakes Relay For Life will be hosting Pub Crawl Bingo from 6-9pm. Participants will crawl at their own pace while completing tasks & finding items on their bingo cards. At 9pm all participants will meet back at Terrain to tally their bingos & get entered into a drawing for door prizes. Register here.
 
Maplefest at the Grass River Natural Area 
Saturday, March 18th, Noon-3pm, Bellaire
Watch sap being boiled to syrup on the evaporator at the Pavilion at the Grass River Center. Stop in to see the process of making maple syrup in action. Ask staff questions & hike on the trail to see where they tap trees, hang buckets & lines, & collect sap. Register at grassriver.org.
